Print Pomona Art Book Fair (PPABF) returns on Saturday, March 4, 11am–7pm (PST), and Sunday, March 5, 11am–6pm (PST), at Pomona College’s Edmunds Ballroom. PPABF will bring more than 50 national and international exhibitors to where San Gabriel Valley meets the Inland Empire, with the aim of providing a forum for independent booksellers, distributors, and publishers to showcase artist’s books, art catalogs, photography monographs, drawings, and other print ephemera.
The two-day fair will also serve as a meeting place for creatives, book lovers, and publishers to discuss and exchange ideas about art making, publishing, and other related topics. To kick off PPABF, we invite you to join us at the Benton Museum of Art at Pomona College on Thursday, March 2, 6–8pm (PST), for a performance by artist Lindsay August-Salazar accompanied by the launch of her artist book in collaboration with the college’s department of Studio Art. Photographer John Divola will give a lecture at the museum on Friday, March 3, 7pm (PST), followed by a reception.
Admission to this event and the fair are free and open to the public.
