Orange County Museum of Art Celebrates Its New Building With a 24-Hour Opening Party

On October 8, the Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA) will reopen in a stunning new building designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Thom Mayne of Morphosis Studios, located on the Segerstrom Center for the Arts campus in Costa Mesa, California.

Celebrate at the 24-Hour Opening Party! Starting October 8 at 5pm, the museum is open to the public through 5pm on Sunday, October 9. Visitors can experience the five inaugural contemporary art exhibitions — including an homage to the 13 women who founded the Balboa Pavilion Gallery, OCMA’s predecessor institution, and a revival of the California Biennial — all day and night. There will be performances, film screenings, dancing, silent disco, family artmaking, cocktails, yoga, and more.

Admission is free and open to everyone.
